A melty cheese and savory topping snack wrapped in a crispy tortilla for easy, tasty bites.

# What You Need:

→ Tortillas

01 - 2 large flour tortillas (10-inch)

→ Sauce

02 - 4 tablespoons pizza sauce or marinara

→ Cheese

03 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (100 g)
04 - 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

→ Pizza Toppings

05 - 8 to 10 slices pepperoni or vegetarian pepperoni (optional)
06 - 1/4 cup sliced black olives
07 - 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
08 - 1/4 small red onion, thinly sliced
09 - 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
10 - Fresh basil leaves (optional)

# How To Make It:

01 - Heat a large non-stick skillet or grill pan over medium heat.
02 - Place one tortilla on a cutting board and cut from the center to the edge creating a single slit.
03 - Evenly spread 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce over the entire tortilla surface.
04 - Sprinkle half of the mozzarella over one quarter section of the tortilla.
05 - Arrange pepperoni (if using) and black olives on the adjacent quarter.
06 - Place sliced mushrooms and red onion on the next quarter of the tortilla.
07 - Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese and dried oregano over the remaining quarter.
08 - Starting at the cut, fold each quarter over the next creating a layered triangular wrap.
09 - Transfer the folded wrap to the skillet and cook 2 to 3 minutes per side, pressing gently until golden and cheese is melted.
10 - Repeat the process with the second tortilla and remaining ingredients. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil if desired.

# Helpful Tips:

01 -
  • It comes together faster than ordering delivery, but tastes like you actually tried.
  • The crispy-chewy texture contrast and those little pockets of melted cheese in every bite are genuinely addictive.
  • You can customize it based on whatever's in your kitchen without changing a single step.
02 -
  • Don't cut all the way through the tortilla when you make that center cut—just slice from the middle to the edge, or it'll fall apart when you try to fold it.
  • The skillet needs to be hot enough that the tortilla sizzles immediately when it hits, but not so hot that it burns before the cheese inside can melt.
03 -
  • If your tortillas keep cracking or tearing, wrap them in a damp paper towel and microwave them for 10 seconds to soften them before you start.
  • The key to even melting is keeping your heat at medium—too high and the outside chars before the inside melts, too low and everything just sits there steaming.
